This was a nice place to eat and talk. The food was amazing highly recommend. Loved the prawn toast and the beef cheeks so good.

Visited here for the first time for a birthday surprise. The venue decor and views of the Brisbane River from the outdoor seating are well worth a visit alone. Then to top it off, the food was sensational. Our party all got the 1st banquet for $88 and some extras (note: our extras were not nessesary as the portions are decent). All the food was fantastic with every dish well balanced in flavours and salt content. Each dish felt unique on its own, with some flavours leaving us guessing. Without listing ALL the dishes we had, our three most note worthy dishes were the: 1. Hot Smoked Salmon watercress salad was packed with flavours, refreshing and leave you wanting more. 2. Abrolhos Island Scallop Dumplings were not only magnificently presented, the well balanced flavours were very smooth and delicious. And yes, eat it in one go, don't cut it! 3. Tang Sui Chicken Ribs also had plenty of savoury and sweet flavours leaving you lacking your lips. Sorry, I'll have to add one more, which was an addition to the banquet... 4. the Burnt Cheesecake! Yum! This is not the cheesecake most of you are use to. The combination of flavours using furu and pandan cream along with the burnt finish makes you want to jump straight to dessert. So if you're a fan of cheesecakes or puddings differently order this dessert! A quick note on drinks, (no photo), the Malteser Espresso Martini is also a must try, which one of the other guests tried. Finally a note on service. The staff here were friendly and professional but most of, 5 stars for service to both the BOH & FOH for allowing a few changes with two different banquets, thank you for your understanding and customer service. The waiters knowledge and memory of ordering was impeccable and the whole sitting, we were checked on numerous times and water topped up with no mistakes to report. Went to Madame Wu for our wedding anniversary. Every dish was delicious, and the service was outstanding. A special shoutout to the lovely German lady who took care of us. We had a lovely surprise of a beautifully decorated dessert plate wishing us a happy anniversary! Thank you for a wonderful night! ✨

This place was amazing! The food was incredible and what made it all the more special was our wonderful waiter/ wine expert Joey! This dude knew his stuff and it made the experience that much better. But wow, the food was just truly wonderful, it’s a treat yourself experience for sure! Thankyou for the amazing service and wonderful food!

Very good food, not many vegetarian options though. Thoroughly enjoyed the different veg dishes. Food was filling and tasty. Good for large groups , may found noisy for someone who likes quietness. Good river views.

We had a beautiful anniversary meal here. They really went above and beyond to make is special for us with complimentary drink on arrival, a note on the table and a dessert with sparklers and happy anniversary writing. I wasn't expecting so many little touches and it really made the night. The food was all delicious, I wasn't blown away but it was definitely great food. The river views and the staff were all exceptional. The only slight issue was that when we went to pay the guy at the counter said we couldn't use our entertainment app discount on the banquet even though we specifically asked the staff before we ordered if there were any exclusions and were told no we could use it on anything but the max discount was $40. The man at checkout did honour this in the end but it made it a bit awkward trying to point out which staff member had said this to us and some back and forth so i think the restaurant need to make sure all staff are giving same information about the discount to avoid this confusion. Overall we had a fabulous night though.

Madam Wu Brisbane is an absolute standout! The location is unbeatable, with beautiful river views and the perfect mix of indoor and outdoor seating. Whether you’re there for sunset drinks or dinner with friends, the atmosphere is just incredible. As someone who appreciates great gluten-free options, I was so impressed by their dedicated gluten-free menu — and not just a few items, but tons of delicious choices. It makes dining here stress-free and enjoyable. The drink menu is wonderful, with creative cocktails and great selections to complement the food perfectly. From the moment we walked in, the service was spectacular — warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming throughout the entire experience. Must tries: the chicken ribs (absolutely addictive), the fried rice, the rice-crusted fish (so flavorful and perfectly cooked), and you cannot leave without ordering the burnt cheesecake. It’s unforgettable. Madam Wu is a must-visit in Brisbane — we’ll definitely be back!

Went for the bottomless weekend lunch which was outstanding. The view is delightful and our experience was made incredible by the service delivered by the lovely Cameron. She anticipated our every need and we were never without a drink. The food was plentiful but the duck main was difficult to eat with chopsticks. Chicken ribs and duck burns were lovely. For us the greens were a little strongly favoured. We had a wonderful time and will return with friends. Thanks Cameron for looking after us so perfectly.

We came here to celebrate my birthday. We tried Banquet Two at Madame Wu, and everything we had was so good. From the oysters and small bites to the fried rice and mushrooms. every dish was flavorful and well-balanced. The highlight for me was the steak with XO sauce super rich, savory, and definitely giving. Even the desserts were beautifully done and not too heavy. Overall, the whole banquet was worth it. We came hungry and left with full tummies and happy hearts.

I booked the private dining space for my 30th birthday. It was amazing! To Shannon & Kim, Thank you both for being so wonderful the past few weeks leading up to my event with all my requests. The whole team at Madame Wu, including Tara, the manager and the other waiter who served us were absolutely phenomenal. So attentive and friendly. Please extend my thank you to the chefs and all staff. I am beyond grateful. I will definitely be back!
